Coaching for Teachers- Tools for Managing Stress: with Rachael Welford
£10.00
Regulated & Resourced is a two-hour workshop designed specifically for self-employed yoga, meditation and sound teachers.
When you are the business, your nervous system isn’t separate from your work… it is part of your professional toolkit. We need to ask, “Am I running my classes… or are my classes running me?”
We don’t just need systems that support our business and generate predictable income. We need internal systems that keep us grounded… especially when the world feels chaotic, and we’re expected to be the calm one in the room (even when we’re rushing from one studio to the next with the same worldly stressors as everyone else).
This session goes beyond surface-level breathing techniques and stress management, which you already teach. We’ll look at the difference between capability and capacity, identify the true needle-movers in your work, and explore how structured rest and boundaries aren’t luxuries… they’re essential in burnout prevention.
The workshop includes teaching segments, guided reflection exercises, peer discussion, and closes with an integrative sound meditation, so you’ll leave with simple shifts and systems you can use immediately.
- Understand the difference between capability and capacity and how confusing the two can lead to burnout
- Audit their weekly workload and identify their stressors, personal energy protectors and key aligned actions
- Distinguish between passive collapse and intentional recovery
- Recognise where stress is being fuelled by unpredictability or lack of structure and what to do about it
- Create 1–3 practical changes to implement straight away
- Enjoy a guided sound meditation to close
