WHAT OUR ALUMNI SAY

I first started the YTT just because I wanted to deepen my practice. Now, close to the end of the course, I’m seriously thinking about becoming a teacher.

The teachers have inspired me immensely. Big shout to Josh, the way he organises the classes and how he presents the content in a smart, ludic and pedagogical style – I even ended up enjoying anatomy!

It’s been a beautiful journey so far and it’s just the beginning! I feel encouraged to continue studying and improving my practice, not only on the mat but also by following the yoga philosophy in my daily life.

Thank you for the motivation! Xx

WHAT OUR ALUMNI SAY

Being half way through the course now is making me feel like I’d want to attend the training forever. On the other hand it makes me very excited to experience life with all the knowledge I will have gained by the end of it.

I am appreciating the community that is built, the magic that is created in the room with all the beautiful people and teachers who are at this course.

I have long flirted with the idea to do a YTT, thinking of Bali, India, Thailand but it was the best decision to have chosen the course with MoreYoga, as I have attended classes at a variety of studios around London for years now and trust they are doing a good job at it.

WHAT OUR ALUMNI SAY

From admission through to the final assessment. The course was thoughtfully layered and you could really feel the different parts coming together as we moved through the modules.

The asana labs woven throughout felt so important for our teaching skills and building confidence. Erica and Josh were encouraging and supportive and what I really valued the most is the emphasis on finding our individual teacher voices and styles.

This felt empowering and motivating to celebrate our individuality and authenticity.

THANK YOU MORE YOGA TEAM. Big love xx

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I take a 200-hour YTT training if I don't want to become a teacher?

Absolutely. Many people enroll in yoga teacher training for personal growth, deepening their practice, and gaining a more profound understanding of yoga. The teaching skills acquired can also be applied in various areas of life beyond a formal yoga class.

Are there exams or assessments on a 200hr Training?

The main practical exam is to teach a 40 minute class at the end of the training. We also ask you to complete anatomy quizzes and mandatory teaching practices throughout the course. These teaching practices are designed to ensure that you have grasped the essential concepts and are progressing throughout the course. There is no written essay.

Do I need to have a advanced yoga practice to join the training?

No, we require students to have at least two years of physical practice before enrolling in the training. This ensures that the student has dedicated time to their mat and has a clear understanding that this is the path they wish to pursue. We require students to be able to participate in a 90-minute vinyasa practice, modifcations for injuries and ability are welcomed and encouraged.

Is the 200-hour certification internationally recognized?

Yes our training is accredited with Yoga Alliance Professionals UK and Yoga Alliance USA.
Completion of a 200-hour YTT program that is Yoga Alliance accredited allows graduates to register as certified yoga instructors.

What does my Spain accommodation cost include? Are there additional costs I need to factor in?

Booking includes 3 gourmet vegetarian buffet style meals per night staying at Suryalila, and use of facilities, (pool, internet, etc.), free tea, coffee, fruit and drinking water and use of yoga props.

Your accomodation price does not include transfers to and from the airport. We will try and share these as best we can to save in costs.

What style of Yoga will I be qualified to teach?

You will be qualified to teach Vinyasa Yoga

What is the maximum amount of students that can join the training?

We cap the number of participants in the training at 30 individuals. However, for our September session in Spain, the maximum capacity is limited to 25 students.

Do you offer payment plans for the training?

We no longer offer payment plans for the training. Just the deposit is needed for you to secure your place. The balance payment is due a few weeks before the training starts
