What makes this training unique:
As an experienced yoga teacher, Maggie struggled to find a suitably strengthening and enjoyable pregnancy yoga class when she first got pregnant. She also found there were a lot of myths around pregnancy perpetuated as fact in the classes she attended. So she did her own research and worked with her physiotherapist to move and do yoga in ways that supported her pregnant self. Later during her second pregnancy Maggie continued working with her physiotherapist and together they developed and taught ‘Strengthening Pregnancy Yoga’ courses in studios and online. Their course for mamas offers to balance the essential softening and grounding elements of pregnancy yoga with the similarly essential, but rarely emphasised elements to build stability and strength. Maggie weaves her own experience as a mother of two and as a pregnancy yoga teacher, her research and her work into this Pregnancy Yoga Teacher Training to offer you ways to best support the mamas around (and, possibly, in) you.
REQUIREMENTS: You must already be a 200 Hour Qualified Teacher to complete this training
